Emergency Department RN — McKinney, TX

Night Shift | 13-Week Contract | ASAP Start

This travel RN opportunity is in a fast-paced Emergency Department, including a pediatric ED (PBED) component, in McKinney, TX. The unit manages a high volume of acute and emergent presentations across all acuity levels, with procedures and clinical demands typical of a busy community ED setting.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (18:00–06:00)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block; no on-call requirement

Float Requirement

• May float to cover ED patients holding in the hospital pending inpatient placement

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

Ideal Candidate

• Strong emergency nursing background with experience managing acute, multi-acuity patients
• Familiarity with the clinical workflow and procedures common to emergency settings
• High energy, self-motivated, and focused on delivering excellent patient experience
• ASAP availability with minimal PTO requests during the contract period

Dress Code

• Royal blue scrub top and bottom
