Respiratory Therapist – 7 PM–7 AM
The Opportunity
Join the respiratory therapy team at the facility in Blacksburg, VA for a 13-week contract. You'll work nights (7 PM–7 AM) on a rotating schedule of three 12-hour shifts every other weekend.
The Unit
This respiratory therapy department serves a diverse patient population across ICU, cardiac monitoring, and medical-surgical settings, plus the emergency department. You'll manage ventilator care, non-invasive ventilation, and airway management for patients ranging from critical to stable acuity levels.
What You'll Do
- Provide skilled respiratory care to patients across multiple unit types
- Collaborate with a highly engaged clinical team and supportive management
- Work with modern respiratory equipment in a well-resourced environment
- Document care in the electronic health record system
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- PALS and NRP certifications (preferred)
- Respiratory therapy core competencies
