Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for an 18-week contract on the night shift.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• 18-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current PERMANENT Ohio license or compact state license (in hand at submission)
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in your specialty (from an assignment within the past 12 months)

What to Expect

You'll provide care for medical and surgical patients on telemetry monitoring. During orientation, you'll complete an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment — both must be passed to continue (you have two attempts).

Important Notes

• Background checks are reviewed; no open cases or license hits accepted
• All candidates must be nicotine-free (nurses are exempt from nicotine-free requirements)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation includes required modules (6–15 hours average)
• Contract extensions up to 18 months are available; a 6-month break follows unless deferred by the facility
