Cardiac Med-Surg RN — Night Shift | Chattanooga, TN

This 13-week travel assignment places you on a busy Cardiac Med-Surg unit working night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with a 36-hour weekly guarantee.

Unit Overview

The unit focuses on cardiac medical-surgical patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and cardiac drip management. Nurses manage both titrated drips (Cardizem, heparin) and non-titrated infusions (dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone). A 12-lead EKG capability is available on the unit. Support staff includes a free CNC/charge nurse each shift and three PCTs.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• 3–4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period
• Self-scheduling available
• Float rotation shared with other travel nurses

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS (required)
• Cardiac/telemetry knowledge and EKG rhythm identification
• Experience with cardiac medications and drips
• Med-surg clinical background
