Cardiac Med-Surg RN — Night Shift | Chattanooga, TN

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Guaranteed Hours: 36/week

This Cardiac Med-Surg unit provides specialized cardiac care in a structured, well-supported environment. The team includes a dedicated charge nurse available to assist each shift, along with patient care technicians and a unit secretary on days.

Clinical Scope

• Cardiac drip management including titratable drips (Cardizem, heparin) and non-titratable drips (dopamine, dobutamine, amiodarone)
• Continuous telemetry monitoring with airstrip coverage for telemetry and immobile patients
• 12-lead EKG capability on unit
• EKG rhythm identification required

Schedule

• Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• 3–4 weekend shifts per four-week scheduling period
• Self-scheduling available
• Float rotation shared with other travel nurses

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS (required)
• Cardiac/telemetry knowledge and EKG rhythm identification skills
• Med-surg experience with familiarity in cardiac medications and drip management

Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
