Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Contract: 13 weeks
Location: Wichita, KS
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Unit
The unit is well-staffed during day shifts with 8 RNs, 3 patient care technicians, and a unit clerk, creating a supportive environment where you can focus on quality patient care.
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (active in Kansas)
- Minimum 1 year of telemetry hospital experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Positive attitude, independent judgment, and strong critical thinking
- Prior travel nursing or charting system experience is a plus
What You'll Do
- Manage cardiac monitoring and post-procedure recovery
- Administer medications via IV and PCA pumps
- Assess and care for patients with chest tubes and central lines
- Participate in bubble studies and other diagnostic procedures
- Collaborate with a stable, experienced team
This is a straightforward telemetry role with predictable day shifts, established protocols, and supportive colleagues. Two positions are available.
