Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract

Derby, KS | Evenings | 13-Week Assignment

This freestanding emergency department operates at a steady, fast pace and sees a broad mix of adult and pediatric patients across varying acuity levels. The unit maintains a well-staffed structure on both day and night shifts, with charge nurse coverage, mid-level providers, and physician support throughout.

Shift Details

• 13:00–01:00 (afternoon/evening shift)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Clinical Scope

• IV starts and medication administration
• Procedural sedation
• Pediatric care (team nursing model)
• Mixed acuity patient population

Required Certifications & Experience

• Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC required at time of start
• Experience in a fast-paced or high-volume emergency setting

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC certification
• Prior travel nursing experience
