Emergency Room RN — 13-Week Travel Assignment

About the Role

You'll work in a fast-paced emergency department, managing a diverse patient population across all acuity levels. You'll be responsible for rapid and accurate , direct and indirect patient care, assessment and prioritization, and coordination with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • patients safely, rapidly, and accurately upon arrival
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Deliver direct patient care and interventions in the emergency setting
  • Coordinate care across disciplines
  • Self-study telemetry strips upon acceptance; pass a basic dysrhythmia competency test during your first week (required to work in this department)

Schedule

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Every third weekend required
  • Every other holiday rotation required
  • Occasional on-call during low-census periods; if called in, you must be able to arrive on-site within one hour

Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS/ACLS certification
  • Willing to complete required health screenings and vaccinations (COVID-19, influenza, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, TB test, fit test)
  • Pass background check and drug screen
  • Pass basic dysrhythmia test

Contract Details

  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
  • Start date: October 26, 2026
