OB/GYN Nurse – Outpatient
Position Overview
The facility's OB/GYN department seeks an experienced RN for a 13-week contract in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You'll support diverse clinical services including antenatal care, gynecological procedures, maternal fetal medicine, reproductive endocrinology, and general gynecology.
Shift & Schedule
- 8-hour variable shifts: 7:30 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:30 PM
- No weekends, holidays, or call
- 40 hours per week
Clinical Scope
You'll perform nursing assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and care coordination for patients and families. The department manages approximately 305–400 patients daily across 36 clinical rooms (including 4 NST bays and 7 ultrasound rooms), with roughly 75% requiring RN support.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years outpatient OB/GYN experience
- Experience with conscious sedation and termination services
- RN license, BLS, ACLS, and AWHONN fetal monitoring certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- Moderate sedation experience
- OR/PACU background
- Women's Health telephone
- Labor & Delivery experience
