PCU RN – Inpatient Observation Unit | Atlanta, GA

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 12-Hour Shifts | 14-Week Contract

This fast-paced Inpatient Observation Unit operates adjacent to the Emergency Department and manages a dynamic mix of medical, trauma overflow, and mid-hold patients spanning lower to higher acuity levels. The unit moves quickly, and patient needs can shift rapidly — making adaptability and clinical confidence essential.

What to Expect:

• High-acuity observation environment with diverse patient populations
• Medical beds and trauma overflow capacity
• Float requirements to other areas within your competency
• Holiday coverage is expected

Schedule:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 4 shifts per week / 48 guaranteed hours
• 96-week contract (approximately 14 weeks)

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of PCU or like-specialty experience in an acute care setting
• Active RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required
• TNCC preferred
