Pediatric ICU (PICU) Nurse – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced PICU nurse for a 13-week contract at our facility in Austin, TX. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in a high-acuity, fast-paced pediatric intensive care unit.

Unit Details

Float assignments to other critical care areas (CVICU and NICU) are expected when needed.

Requirements

• Current RN license (state-specific)
• Minimum 2 years PICU experience
• BLS and PALS certifications
• Nursys license verification

Onboarding

Standard facility onboarding includes specialty exams, competency validation, EKG assessment, health screening, background check, and drug screening.

Dress Code

Navy scrubs with pediatric print tops permitted.

Schedule & Commitment

36–48 hours per week over 13 weeks, starting October 11, 2026. Night shift availability is required.
