Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. This is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment caring for critically ill children across multiple specialties.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36–48 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Start: October 11, 2026
Unit Details
Requirements
- 2+ years of PICU or pediatric critical care experience
- Current RN license (Texas)
- BLS and PALS certifications
- Nursys license verification
Dress Code
Navy scrubs with pediatric print tops permitted.
Onboarding
Standard facility credentialing includes skills verification, competency assessments, background check, immunizations (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, influenza vaccine), TB screening, fit testing, and drug screening.
This is a direct-care role focused on delivering excellent clinical nursing in a collegial, resource-supported PICU environment.
