NICU Registered Nurse — Frankfort, KY
Night Shift | 13-Week Contract
This Women's Health NICU is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). The unit cares for neonatal patients across a range of acuities, with staffing levels that flex to meet census demands.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 19:00–07:00
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend required
Clinical Scope
Nurses on this unit perform IV starts, lab draws, medication administration, UVC/UAC line maintenance, and patient assessments. You'll assist providers with intubation, chest tube placement, umbilical line placement, and circumcision. The unit also utilizes phototherapy and standard neonatal monitoring and warming equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience in a hospital setting
- Active Kentucky RN license at time of submission
- BLS and NRP certifications required
- STABLE delivery team experience is preferred and will be prioritized during review
