Nights | 13-Week Contract

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Two weekends (four shifts) per four-week schedule

Unit Overview

This neuro med/surg unit manages patients requiring close monitoring and specialized neurological and surgical nursing care. The team is supported by nursing techs on both day and night shifts, with a unit secretary available during day hours. You'll be expected to deliver attentive, patient- and family-centered care, including bedside shift reports and active involvement of patients in their plan of care.

Clinical Scope & Skills Required

• Med/surg experience with the ability to prioritize care and multitask
• IV insertion, basic wound care
• Maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Telemetry monitoring and continuous pulse oximetry

Float Policy

Contract staff float first; rotation applies when multiple contract nurses are scheduled.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• BLS certification

Navy scrub tops and bottoms
