Medical/Surgical RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical RN for night shift work (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll deliver safe, effective, patient- and family-centered care on a medical/surgical unit, managing a diverse patient population across multiple acuity levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and communicate findings clearly to the care team
- Document care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record
- Function independently while demonstrating sound clinical judgment
- Respond rapidly and effectively to emergency situations
- Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold professional standards
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (Maine)
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently on night shift
- Critical thinking and emergency response capability
