Labor & Delivery Nurse
Position Overview
Join the labor and delivery team to provide compassionate, high-quality care to expectant mothers throughout the childbirth process. You'll support patients through labor, delivery, and recovery with a full range of clinical and educational services.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift Options: Day (7am–7pm) or Night (7pm–7am) — you choose
- Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during labor, delivery, and recovery
- Monitor vital signs and assist with medical procedures
- Deliver childbirth and lactation education
- Offer emotional support to patients and families
- Manage the full scope of L&D nursing care
Requirements
- Current RN license (Colorado)
- All certifications required by job description
- Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required
- Reliable personal transportation (rural location with no public transit)
Location
Gunnison, Colorado — a rural community. Personal vehicle necessary for commuting.
