Registered Nurse

ICU / Observation Unit RN — Atlanta, GA

Contract: 14 weeks | Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3×12 schedule) | Guaranteed Hours: 48/week

This fast-paced Inpatient Observation Unit sits adjacent to the Emergency Department and serves a broad patient population ranging from lower to higher acuity. The unit manages medical beds and trauma overflow, requiring nurses who can respond confidently to rapidly changing clinical presentations and patient needs.

Clinical Scope:

• Observation and short-stay management across a spectrum of acuity levels
• Medical and trauma overflow patient populations
• Mid-hold and ED-adjacent patient flow
• Float to other areas of clinical competency as needed

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU or like-specialty experience in an acute care setting
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC preferred
• Holiday availability is expected
• Current RN licensure (Georgia or compact)

A current, badge-appropriate photo will be required as part of the credentialing process.
