Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Position Overview

Join the pediatric cardiac catheterization lab team to assist with diagnostic and interventional procedures on pediatric patients with congenital and acquired heart disease. You'll provide critical physiological monitoring, anticipate procedural needs, and support the physician and care team in a fast-paced, specialized environment.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 40 hours per week with rotating on-call coverage
• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Perform active physiological monitoring: heart rate, rhythm, pressures, oxygen saturation, and cardiac output
• Assist with cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures
• Conduct intra-procedure testing including hemodynamic calculations and shunt studies
• Anticipate procedural changes and communicate patient condition updates to the physician
• Prepare equipment and supplies while maintaining aseptic technique
• Manage room setup, patient transport, and post-procedure cleanup
• Follow strict infection control and sharps safety protocols
• Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and catheter site monitoring

Required Credentials

• Current RT-R ARRT or RCIS licensure
• PALS certification required upon onboarding
• Standard health screening and background check upon hire
