Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 90-week contract assignment. You'll join the respiratory care team providing direct patient care on night shifts in a supportive, collaborative environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Rotation: Every other weekend; 1 holiday required per year
- Location: Austin, TX
- Start date: October 11, 2026
Requirements
- Current respiratory therapy license/certification (state-verified)
- ECLS or equivalent certification
- 2 professional references
- Ascension Skills Checklist completion and testing
Required Onboarding Credentials
- Criminal background check
- OFAC verification
- Education and employment verification
- Health requirements: COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap vaccines; 2-step PPD or IGRA; fit test; health statement; 12-panel drug screen
