Telemetry Nurse – 90-Week Contract
About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse to join the cardiac monitoring unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced telemetry environment, managing patients on continuous cardiac monitoring and supporting post-acute cardiac care.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: 90 weeks
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of Telemetry nursing experience
- Current RN license (GA or compact state license required)
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line placement
- EHR experience
What You'll Do
- Monitor and assess patients on telemetry systems
- Perform IV insertions and manage PICC lines
- Provide direct patient care and support to the clinical team
- Document care and communicate updates using the facility's EHR system
