Position Overview
Join the orthopedic team at the facility in Asheville, NC for a 13-week contract. This is a day shift position running 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
About the Role
You'll work in a high-volume orthopedic unit within a major regional medical center. The facility serves as a comprehensive referral hub, handling trauma, surgical specialties, and complex cases. You'll collaborate with experienced orthopedic surgeons and nursing staff in a setting committed to clinical excellence and patient safety.
What You'll Need
- Current RN or LPN licensure (state-specific requirements apply)
- Active nursing certifications as required by your state and specialty
- Orthopedic nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work a set day schedule with potential for weekday flexibility
What We're Looking For
Strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced surgical environment. You should be comfortable with post-operative care, patient assessment, and working alongside an interdisciplinary team.
