Emergency Department RN — McKinney, TX

Nights | 13-Week Contract | ASAP Start

This busy Emergency Department in McKinney, Texas is seeking an experienced ED RN for a night shift contract (18:00–06:00). The unit manages a high volume of acute and emergency presentations across a range of acuity levels, with a fast-paced, team-oriented culture.

Shift & Schedule

• Night shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduling period; no on-call required

Clinical Scope

• Full-scope emergency nursing care including trauma, medical, and pediatric emergencies
• Float responsibilities include monitoring admitted patients holding in the ED

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Prior ED experience required
• Strong patient experience and communication skills
• High-energy, self-motivated, team-first personality
• Quick start availability; minimal PTO requests preferred

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC

Dress Code

Royal blue scrubs (top and bottom)
