Physical Therapist — Inpatient Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient travel assignment covering a leave through mid-May 2027. You'll work across the CCU, acute care, and day surgery units, evaluating patients and developing treatment plans to improve strength, range of motion, balance, safety, and functional mobility. You'll also educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
Schedule & Duration
- 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
- 24-week contract
- Start date: November 3, 2026
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy
- Current Colorado PT licensure (DORA) or compact license for Colorado
- Minimum 2 years PT experience; 3–5 years preferred
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Mandatory flu vaccination (no declinations) required October 1 – April 1
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
Additional Details
- CAPS Colorado registration required (allow up to 2 weeks)
- Housing option: newly remodeled studio and 1-bedroom apartments located half a block from the hospital, fully furnished with Wi-Fi, utilities, and on-site laundry
