Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to join the respiratory care team on a 13-week contract beginning October 6, 2026.
Position Overview
Work three 12-hour night shifts per week with rotating call and weekend responsibilities. You'll provide respiratory care and diagnostic procedures for cardiopulmonary patients of all ages and acuity levels, including Level 2 NICU patients. This role requires excellent critical care and ventilator management skills in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of respiratory therapy experience
- NBRC RRT certification (required; CRT not considered)
- Valid Colorado Registered Respiratory Therapist license
- Completion of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
- Demonstrated neonatal and pediatric experience, including Level 2 NICU care
- Mandatory flu vaccination (no declinations; required October 1–April 1)
- Experienced traveler preferred; first-time travelers not considered
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
