Med/Surg Telemetry RN – Travel Position

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care to telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing complex medical-surgical cases. This is a travel contract offering flexibility in shift selection.

Shift & Schedule

• 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights
• Day option: 07:00–19:30
• Night option: 19:00–07:30
• Shifts may rotate based on operational needs; the facility will work to honor your preference when possible
• Must work at least every other holiday

Contract Details

• Duration: 18 weeks (13-week option also available)
• Start Date: October 23, 2026

Float & Clinical Scope

You may float to other units (including the Emergency Department) to care for the same patient populations. You'll use telemetry monitoring and manage patients across the med/surg continuum.

Requirements

• 12 months permanent experience in medical/surgical nursing or telemetry (required)
• Current licenses & certifications:
• Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at submission
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (all active and current)
• Manager or supervisor reference from past 12 months (required at submission)

Onboarding

You'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation; a passing score on both is required.

Background & Compliance

Standard background screening, drug screen, and BCI/FBI prints (completed within 48 hours of contract signing) apply.
