Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. This is a travel contract position with potential to float to related units while caring for the same patient population.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Day (07:00–19:30) or Night (19:00–07:30)
- Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands
- Must work at least every other holiday
- Contract duration: 18 weeks (13 weeks also available)
- Start date: October 23, 2026
Clinical Scope
You'll provide care to medical-surgical telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing acute to intermediate acuity conditions. You may float to related units to care for similar patient populations as staffing needs require.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 months permanent, full-time experience in Med/Surg Telemetry or similar specialty
- Current, active RN license: Ohio or compact state license (must be in hand at submission)
- Current, active certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director required (from past 12 months)
- Willing to complete orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety testing (two attempts to pass)
Requirements at Hire
- Negative background check and drug screen
- BCI/FBI clearance (completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination (medical or religious exemptions only)
