Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join its respiratory therapy department on a 13-week contract. You'll work a day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) providing care across multiple units including ICU, emergency department, medical-surgical floors, and NICU.

Clinical Scope

You will manage patients across the full spectrum of respiratory acuity—from neonates to adults. Your responsibilities include:

  • Mechanical ventilation management and weaning
  • CPAP/BiPAP setup and monitoring
  • Aerosol therapy and nebulizer treatments
  • Chest physical therapy
  • Patient assessment and documentation

Requirements

  • Licensure: CRT or RRT credential from NBRC; New Hampshire Respiratory License
  • Certifications: ACLS, NRP
  • Skills: Strong multitasking ability, mechanical aptitude, and professional patient communication

What to Expect

You'll work in a fast-paced environment requiring flexibility to float across units. The facility uses current respiratory equipment and electronic medical record systems to support your clinical decisions. Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
