Medical-Surgical (MS) | Travel RN | Utica, NY
This Medical-Surgical unit provides post-surgical care to an adult patient population with a focus on general and bariatric surgery recovery, as well as common diagnoses including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity. Nurses utilize specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes throughout daily practice.
Assignment Details
- Shift: Days, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Start Date: October 12, 2026
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Floating: Required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active RN license in New York (verified via NURSYS)
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Completed skills checklist matching the MS specialty
- Valid driver's license with address matching submitted demographics
- RTO requests must be submitted at time of application
