CT Technologist – Weekend Day Shifts
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week contract working day shifts on weekends. This role requires independent competency in both CT and X-ray imaging, with flexibility to manage workload demands across both modalities.
Shift Schedule
- Days: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 p.m. (2x12-hour shifts)
- Holiday coverage: Only if a holiday falls on Saturday or Sunday
- No call required
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience (2+ years preferred)
- Active compact or TN license
- IV competency and CTA experience
- Proficiency with portable X-ray and departmental protocols
- COVID-19 and flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions for COVID only; no flu exemptions)
Clinical Responsibilities
You'll perform a full range of CT imaging including abdomen, chest, head, spine, pelvis, and vascular studies. You'll work with patients across all age groups—from neonates through geriatrics—in both acute care and outpatient settings. Key skills include 3D rendering (MIP, SSD, volume rendering), multiplanar reconstruction, contrast administration, and radiation safety.
Important: You must be able to operate CT and X-ray independently when staffing is limited.
