Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join the cardiovascular team on a 13-week contract. You'll work day shifts supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (10-hour shifts)
- On-call: Every 5th weekend and 1 weekday per week
- Float: As needed to pre- and post-cardiac care units
- Guaranteed hours throughout the contract period
Clinical Scope
You'll assist with coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions, and other cardiac diagnostic procedures. Responsibilities include patient preparation, equipment setup and monitoring, fluoroscopy assistance, and post-procedure care coordination.
Requirements
- Current RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) certification or equivalent state licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in cardiac catheterization preferred
- Flexibility to float to related cardiac units as staffing needs arise
