RN – Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced telemetry nurse for a 12-hour day shift position. You'll monitor and care for acute care patients on telemetry, providing skilled assessment, intervention, and patient education in a fast-paced unit.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- 36 hours per week
- Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
- 13-week contract with guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts RN license and BLS certification
- Minimum 3 years of medical/surgical or telemetry experience in an acute care setting
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and patient care protocols
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with common hospital charting systems
What You'll Do
Monitor cardiac rhythms, assess vital signs, respond to clinical changes, communicate with physicians, and provide compassionate patient care. You'll be part of a collaborative nursing team in an acute care environment.
