Electrophysiology (EP) Tech – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility's EP Lab is seeking an experienced Electrophysiology Tech to join the team. You'll work in a fast-paced cardiac electrophysiology environment supporting a wide range of diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4x10-hour shifts (07:00–17:30)
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: Yes, weekdays only (no weekend call; must stay past shift end if on call that day)
- Contract Duration: 15 weeks
- Time Off: Maximum 7 days RTO (finalized at submission); blackout dates include Spring Break (April 4–12)
Clinical Details
- Patient Population: Adults to geriatrics
- Procedures: Cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, AICD insertion/programming, pacemaker insertion, tilt table studies
- Skills: Dysrhythmia interpretation, life-threatening arrhythmia recognition, room circulation, scrub (sterile field maintenance), isolation precautions/PPE
Required Credentials
- BLS
- ACLS
- ARRT R or CCI RCIS or CCI RCES
- Minimum 1 year experience (first-time travelers considered)
- Valid RN license (GA or compact)
Additional Information
- Floating: Rare, within scope of practice as needed
- Scrubs: Provided by the facility
- Holiday expectations: May be required to work major holidays if they fall during assignment
- Full compliance required at start; incomplete compliance results in 2-week delay
- Clinical screening required; manager approval follows
