Radiology Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a day shift position in its acute care setting. This is a 13-week contract starting October 12, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5×8 hours)
- Call: Not required
- Weekends: Off
- Holidays: Must commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Clinical Details
You'll support a busy radiology department managing 20–30 patients per day across all age groups (neonates through older adults). The facility uses advanced imaging equipment including external beam therapy machines. You'll apply skills in radiation safety, tumor localization, dose calculation, treatment planning systems, image acquisition, and block cutting. Interdisciplinary collaboration with rapid response teams is expected.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
- Current BLS and State/National Certification (ARRT required)
- Valid state license in hand at submission
- Strong background in adult and pediatric acute care
- Proficiency with treatment planning software and imaging protocols
Location & Logistics
Santa Monica, CA area. Locals accepted within 50 miles. You may be required to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in assignment termination.
