Labor & Delivery RN — Night Shift | Stockbridge, GA
This 8-week travel assignment places you in a Labor & Delivery unit providing care to adult obstetric patients. The unit operates with strong interdisciplinary support, including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response, phlebotomy, social services, and interpretation services.
Shift & Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | 3x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required
- One 12-hour on-call shift per schedule
- Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
- Self-scheduling; max 7 days RTO (must be finalized at time of submission)
Holiday Expectations
- If 1–2 major holidays fall during your assignment, you are expected to work them
- If 3 major holidays fall during your assignment, you are expected to work 2
Clinical Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of L&D experience (first-time travelers accepted)
- Ability to circulate for C-sections
- Active GA RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- NRP
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
Compliance & Onboarding
- Full compliance package due the Tuesday prior to start date
- Core onboarding items/labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- Orientation is 36 hours; orientation week scheduling requests are not permitted
- Pushback of 2 weeks applies if compliance is not completed on time
