Cath Lab Technologist – Cardiac & Interventional Radiology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist with interventional radiology (IR) background to join a dynamic cardiac catheterization program. You'll support a range of diagnostic and interventional procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 4 x 10-hour shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Call: Every 3rd weekend, plus 1–2 call days mid-week as needed
- Duration: 13-week contract
- Start Date: October 19, 2026
Clinical Scope
You'll work with patients undergoing heart catheterizations, right heart studies, pacemaker insertions, and low-risk percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI). Daily responsibilities include supporting angioplasty, stent placement, IABP insertion/removal, Impella procedures, and diagnostic imaging. You'll collaborate with respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams.
Required Qualifications
- ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS certification
- Demonstrated competency in cardiac catheterization and IR procedures
- Ability to respond to call and weekend assignments
Equipment & Tools
You'll work with Teleflex IABP, Impella, and Boston Scientific IVUS systems.
Important Notes
- Orientation includes mandatory compliance modules (up to 16 hours, reimbursable)
- Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
- Floating to other units may occur based on census needs—only to roles matching your documented competencies
