Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology RN — Travel Contract
Santa Rosa, CA | Days | 13-Week Contract
This travel nursing opportunity places you in a busy Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology suite serving adult and geriatric patients. The unit manages a high volume of complex cardiovascular and interventional procedures across three procedure rooms.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- On-call required: weekday and weekend call shifts
- Weekend call rotation: 3 shifts per 2-week period, every 6th weekend (Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM)
- Must commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Clinical Scope
You'll circulate and scrub a wide range of procedures, including:
- Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations (left/right heart cath, PCI, rotablator atherectomy, TAVR, Watchman, LAA closure)
- Vascular and endovascular interventions (carotid stenting, renal artery stenting, stent graft placement, TIPS)
- Interventional radiology procedures (embolization, chemoembolization, nephrostomy, gastrostomy tube placement, pulmonary angiography)
- Electrophysiology support (pacemaker insertion/extraction, cardioversion)
- Procedural sedation administration and monitoring, IABP and Impella management
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Active compact RN license in hand at time of submission
- Candidates located within 50 miles of the facility are accepted under local guidelines
- 2 references covering the past year required prior to start
- Floating to nearby sister facilities may be required
Contract Notes
- All RTO must be requested at time of submission; post-offer requests may not be granted
- Orientation: 40 hours
