Cath Lab Tech | Travel Contract | Eureka, CA

4x10-Hour Days | 06:30–17:00 | 26-Week Contract

This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced Cardiac Catheterization Lab managing a daily caseload of 8–12 cases. The unit handles a broad range of procedures across coronary, peripheral vascular, and electrophysiology disciplines.

Procedures & Clinical Scope

• Coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI/PTCA) and cardiac stent placement
• Permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion
• Electrophysiology (EP) lab procedures
• Carotid angiography and stenting, renal artery stent placement
• IVC filter placement, embolization, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Scrub and sterile field maintenance

Schedule & Coverage

• Day shift: 4x10-hour shifts (06:30–17:00)
• No weekends required; call required (frequency varies by need)
• No floating required
• 30-hour orientation; block scheduling considered

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• ARRT (required; RCIS not accepted unless 5+ years of experience)
• Fluoroscopy Permit (pending permit considered if application is already submitted)
• BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• First-time travelers welcome
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
