Registered Nurse, Emergency Room

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026

Requirements

• License: Georgia or compact license (current and in hand)
• Experience: Minimum 18 months of ER experience required
• Clinical Skills: IV insertion, PICC line placement, mechanical ventilation experience, telemetry interpretation
• Certifications (required at start):
• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIHSS

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor acute and emergent patients
• Perform invasive procedures (IV starts, PICC lines)
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a high-volume setting

Float Requirements

You must be willing to float to other departments within the facility system as staffing needs arise. Floating is monitored on a department rotation basis.

Candidate Profile

This role is for travel nurses willing to relocate. Candidates within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this assignment.
