Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Progressive Care Unit nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll work night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) on a 3 × 12-hour schedule, providing 36 hours per week with guaranteed hours.
Requirements
- Current RN license (state of assignment)
- Minimum 18 months of PCU experience
- Ability to work night shifts and weekend rotations
What You'll Do
As a PCU nurse, you'll care for step-down patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and intervention. Your responsibilities include direct patient care, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, post-procedure observation, and coordination with the interdisciplinary team. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where clinical judgment, communication, and patient advocacy are essential.

- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (night shift)
- Days: 3 shifts per week
