Telemetry Nurse – Observation Unit
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Telemetry Nurse for its Observation Unit. This is a 13-week contract position based in Atlanta, GA, with a start date of October 19, 2026.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed hours throughout the contract
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- Minimum 18 months of nursing experience
- Strong telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Clinical Responsibilities
You'll provide care to observation-unit patients with a focus on:
- Continuous telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Management of cardiac-related telemetry cases
- Administration and monitoring of non-cardiac drips (heparin, insulin, and similar infusions)
- Collaboration with the care team to support patient stability and discharge planning
What We're Looking For
A detail-oriented nurse with solid telemetry experience who can work independently in a fast-paced observation setting and communicate clearly with interdisciplinary teams.
