Critical Care Nurse – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Critical Care Nurse for its Emergency Department. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 11 AM – 11 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Contract Duration: 90 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Yes

Requirements

• Valid RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of critical care experience within the past 3 years
• Willing to travel within a 50-mile radius

What You'll Do

You'll assess and care for acutely ill and injured patients, monitor vital signs, administer medications and treatments, collaborate with the care team, and document patient care according to facility standards. Float to other units within the facility may be required based on census and staffing needs.

Atlanta, Georgia area.

This is a 90-week contract with a defined start date. Ideal candidates are experienced critical care nurses ready for a sustained assignment in a busy emergency setting.
