Critical Care Nurse – Emergency Department

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced Critical Care Nurse for its emergency department. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced environment managing acute and critical patients.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 11 am – 11 pm (3 × 12-hour shifts per week)
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Contract Duration: 90 weeks
• Guaranteed hours available

Requirements

• Current RN license (GA or compact state)
• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Minimum 18 months of emergency or critical care experience within the past 3 years
• Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius

What We're Looking For

You're comfortable managing high-acuity patients, triaging complex presentations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in an unpredictable, high-volume setting. Strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential.
