Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll join the night shift team providing high-acuity care in a fast-paced environment.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Hours: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Start Date: October 19, 2026

Requirements

• Current Georgia or compact nursing license
• ACLS certification (current)
• NIHSS certification (current)
• Minimum 18 months of emergency nursing experience within the past 3 years
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility

What to Expect

You'll work in a busy emergency department managing a diverse patient population across all acuity levels. Night shifts bring their own rhythm—expect a mix of trauma, critical care, and urgent cases. Strong assessment skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume setting are essential.
