Emergency Department Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract. You'll work three 12-hour AM shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), totaling 36 hours weekly with guaranteed hours.
Requirements
- Current Georgia or compact nursing license
- ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of emergency department experience within the past 3 years
Location & Schedule
- Atlanta, GA area
- 50-mile radius assignment
- Not available to local travelers
What You'll Do
You'll deliver fast-paced, high-acuity emergency care in a busy department. Responsibilities include triaging patients, managing acute and critical conditions, assisting with resuscitations and procedures, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide timely emergency care.
