Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Pasadena, TX
This 13-week travel assignment places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department on an evening/overnight shift (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM), with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Alternate weekends are required.
The Unit
The ED manages a high-acuity adult and pediatric patient population, with a strong focus on trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis. Procedures regularly performed include thoracotomy, arterial line placement, and massive transfusion protocol (MTP). The team operates with a multidisciplinary approach across day and night shifts. Float coverage to freestanding ED locations may be required.
Required Skills
- Advanced critical thinking and clinical decision-making
- Extensive experience managing trauma, STEMI, stroke, and sepsis presentations
- Adult and pediatric ED experience strongly preferred
Required Certifications
- BLS, ACLS, PALS
- TNCC, ENPC
- CPI with Trauma-Informed Care (TIC)
- NRP and STABLE are a plus
Dress Code
Royal blue scrubs per facility dress code policy.
