Dialysis Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Dialysis RN to join its dialysis unit on a 13-week contract. You'll deliver hemodialysis treatments to patients with end-stage renal disease and acute kidney injuries in a collaborative clinical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Saturday day shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
- 36 hours per week
- Flexible shift structure: combine 8- and 12-hour shifts to meet weekly hours
- Every Saturday coverage required
- Holiday rotation (Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day)
- No call or standby requirement
Clinical Environment
You'll work alongside 6–7 nurses, 1 AKI physician, and 1 ESRD physician, treating approximately 20 patients daily. The unit has 10 dialysis stations.
Requirements
- Current RN license
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Must have prior dialysis nursing experience
- 3-shift orientation included
Additional Details
- Royal blue and white scrubs
- First to float for unit coverage
- No medical assistants or CNAs on staff
- Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week assignment
