Adult Psychiatric Nursing – 12-Hour Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its adult psychiatric unit. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in mental health care.
Shift & Schedule
- 12-hour day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every other weekend required
- Local applicants preferred
Requirements
- Current RN license
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Health and wellness clearance offered at orientation
What You'll Do
You'll provide direct patient care in an adult psychiatric setting, supporting patients through assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities include medication administration, patient monitoring, documentation, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team.
