Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a night shift position. You'll provide direct patient care to individuals requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry oversight in a fast-paced med/surg environment.

Shift & Contract Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 13, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license: Permanent Ohio or compact state license (in hand at submission)
• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• One manager or supervisor reference from the past 12 months (required)
• Willingness to complete facility orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety modules

What to Expect

You'll work in a medical-surgical telemetry unit delivering patient-centered care, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. Orientation will include facility-specific competency modules (approximately 6–15 hours) and mandatory assessments during your first weeks.

Additional Information

• Background check and FBI clearance required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Vaccinations (COVID-19 and flu) required; medical/religious exemptions considered
• Drug screening required
• This position does not have a charge nurse requirement
