Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN for night shift staffing. You'll care for med/surg patients on telemetry monitoring in a fast-paced inpatient setting.

Shift & Contract Details

• Schedule: 4 x 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Contract Duration: 13–20 weeks
• Location: Warrensville Heights, OH
• Start Date: October 5, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (must be active and in hand at time of submission)
• Permanent Ohio nursing license or current compact state license
• One professional reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director from the past 12 months)
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Willingness to complete facility orientation modules (6–15 hours, pre-start and annually)
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments required during orientation; two attempts to pass
• Background check clearance (no open cases); BCI/FBI prints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions honored)
• Drug screening required
• Extension options available; 6-month break required after 18 months continuous service (may be deferred by facility approval)
