Travel RN – Med/Surg Telemetry | Greensboro, NC | Night Shift
This 13-week travel nursing contract is based on a primarily Medical/Surgical unit with telemetry capability, caring for adult and geriatric patients across a broad range of diagnoses.
Schedule
- Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
- Every other weekend required; holidays as needed
- Float may be required to other campus locations when census is down
Patient Population & Clinical Scope
- Observation, general medical/surgical, and surgical observation patients
- Respiratory conditions, diabetes management (including new diagnoses and complications)
- Palliative, end-of-life, and hospice patients
- Psychiatric observation
Required Skills
- Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Blood product administration
- Peripheral IV and PICC line management
- Wound care/Wound Vac
- Pre/post hemodialysis management
- Chest tube, surgical drain, and feeding tube care
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers welcome
- Active BLS and ACLS required; NIHSS preferred
- Must pass a compliance EKG exam during onboarding (two attempts allowed)
- Active RN license must be in hand at time of submission
- No local candidates within 50-mile radius
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred
Orientation: Approximately 48 hours; non-billable modules average 2–4 hours and are completed during orientation.
Compliance Note: Time-off requests must be submitted with the application. No post-submission RTO accepted.
