Interventional Radiology Technologist – Charleston, SC
Position Overview
The facility's Imaging department is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment. You'll provide direct patient care and technical support in a busy interventional radiology suite performing diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive procedures under moderate sedation.
Schedule & Location
- Shifts: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 AM, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM until cases are completed (call days)
- Location: Charleston, SC
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Unit Details
You'll work in the Imaging Building, supporting a range of specialized procedures including interventional radiology cases, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and general radiology. The department manages moderate sedation protocols across all imaging modalities. Expect to float across imaging departments as needed.
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program
- Interventional Radiology experience (required)
- Neuro-Interventional Radiology experience (preferred)
